Would You Consider Helping Us -- Here's Why
(1) Through Language Learning, it will allow us to communicate naturally, fostering deeper relationships and trust within the community, without the limitations of translation.
(2) More Evangelistic Opportunities,
speaking Thai will open doors for spontaneous conversations and gospel-sharing moments.>
(3) Strengthening Long-term Ministry,
investing in the local language equips us to serve more effectively and sustainably, showing our commitment to building a lasting ministry in Thailand.
Daysi and I are serving as missionaries in Thailand, which lies within the “10/40 Window” a region stretching from North Africa to Asia, home to the largest population of people who have never heard the gospel. This area is marked by cultural, political, and religious barriers to Christianity, making it one of the most spiritually underserved parts of the world. Here in Thailand, sharing the love of Jesus requires patience and trust, as most people are unfamiliar with the message of Christ, and evangelism is met with hesitation.
Well, it’s been over a year here in Thailand, and if you don’t know us yet, we are Mike and Daysi Mady, a Canadian couple, commissioned to serve in Thailand, by New Song Church in Windsor, Ontario. Our home church is under the umbrella of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. (PAOC) This is actually our second time here—our first was about 14 years ago. Just like the first time, God has been amazing. We’ve seen incredible things happening in and through us, in our team, and through our ministry here at Goshen CafĂ©, which is part of the House of Grace Ministry here in Thailand. We continue to witness transformed lives and hearts, which is nothing short of a miracle, and we thank God for that.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to be here and to do what God called us to do. We are here because of our desire to follow that calling and also because for our supporters, who continue to commit to give financially and for those who pray for us on a regular basis. Daysi and I are very thankful, and we know there’s much more to do. We feel strongly that God has called us to serve here long-term.
Looking ahead to 2025, our focus will be on
Thai language learning. This is a crucial next step for our ministry here.Since we believe God has called us to stay here long-term. Our plan is to start learning Thai in Bangkok, which is about 600 kilometers from where we currently live. This means we’ll need to live in Bangkok for six to nine months, with a target start date of January or February 2025. Our goal is to speak, read, and write Thai fluently, so that we can continue serving effectively.
Recently in Bangkok, we’ve already made connections with a few other ministries and are considering working with more, but we’ll provide updates on that as things progress. Our time in Bangkok will be a mix of studying and ministry. As Daysi says, language learning is ministry / which is awesome!
That’s it for our update for now. We’ll be posting more updates here on our website, so if you want to stay informed about what’s happening with us in Thailand, keep checking back. Thank you for your continued support and prayers!
In His Love
Mike & Daysi Mady

Baptizing Youth - Tears of Joy
What an incredible first day of our youth program at Goshen Cafe/MinistryOn Saturday September 16 2023, we had the profound honor of baptizing some of our youth, a moment that brought tears of joy to our eyes. These young souls, that we visit in a nearby village, eagerly accepted Jesus into their lives and made the courageous decision to be baptized. As they stepped into the water, a tangible sense of God's grace enveloped us all. Witnessing their transformation reminded us that faith is a life-altering experience, a rebirth in Christ. In that moment, old selves were washed away, and new selves emerged. It was a testament to the power of faith, community, and the unending grace of God. What a day!! Thank you my God, thank you!!
